2023 Big Apple Award Nominations Are Now Open!

The Big Apple Awards (BAA) nomination process for the upcoming cohort of Fellows for the 2023–24 school year is now open through February 28. All members of the school community (including families, students, and community-based organizations) are invited to nominate a teacher for the Big Apple Award.

Save for College Program: NYC Scholarship Month

The NYC Kids RISE Save for College Program is a scholarship and savings program designed to make college and career training more accessible for all NYC public school students regardless of family income or immigration status. Through the Program, every eligible student enrolled in an NYC public school automatically receives an NYC Scholarship Account with an initial $100 allocation on their behalf.

The Proposed Opening and Co-location of a New Success Academy Charter Elementary School (84QTBD) in Springfield Campus Beginning in the 2023- 2024 School Year. A Joint Public Hearing (JPH) will be held to provide the public with an opportunity to learn more about the above-referenced proposal and to present comments or concerns on the proposal.
