Welcome to the Excelsior Prep High School Community. Excelsior provides all students, who walk through our doors, with a culturally responsive and academically rigorous secondary experience that leverages the Excelsior Preparatory values of Perseverance, Achievement, Scholarship and Service while using instructional approaches that support students in becoming actively aware of their thinking processes.

We all know it's harder for students to succeed at school without reliable internet at home. Students need it to complete their homework and access resources critical to their development. The Affordable Connectivity Program (ACP) is a new federal benefit that helps pay for internet service and devices.

The first Parent Teacher Conferences will take place Thursday September 29th 2022, 5pm-8pm. Conferences will be hosted online, using Microsoft Teams, in the form of a Curriculum night.
“Doors” will open at 5:00pm, you will have an opportunity to chat with other parents and staff until we begin. Principal Orji’s welcoming address starts promptly at 5:15pm, then 20 minute rotations following your child’s morning classes, followed by a presentation from the Guidance staff, finally 20 minute rotations of your child’s afternoon classes. You will be joining classes to meet with your child’s teachers, knowing their schedule is necessary for a successful and informative evening.

The first day of class for the 2022-23 school year is Thursday September 8th. These are the supplies you will need for your classes.
